Location: the hotel was close to anywhere in Lucca, the historical center and a restaurant that Maria recommended. Local fast food option Felix Street Food was 5 minutes walk away. The room was good sized with table and chairs and private bathroom, just what was needed. I appreciated wooden furniture and a delightful decor.

I booked a reasonably spacious and bright room complete with table and chairs, a private bath and the bedroom. I was there for 1 night and would come here again.

The room here is absolutely fantastic, with a lot of natural light and a cozy traditional vibe. Plus, you get free Wi-Fi, which is a big bonus. I'd definitely come back again, had such a great time that I didn't want to leave! 🌟

With air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a tea/coffee maker, my room at this guest house was a cozy oasis during my stay in Lucca. The traditional mosaic floors and wooden furniture added a touch of charm to the space, making it feel like a home away from home. And the best part? The satellite TV kept me entertained after a long day of exploring the city.

We loved the location near art galleries, sites, and excellent restaurants. the owner was very friendly and helpful. the room had a coffee machine, refrigerator, toiletries, and a hairdryer. the sweet cakes provided for breakfast were delicious, and there were good cafes nearby.
The locks on the gate can be tricky, and the rooms are up a flight of stairs with no elevator, so it may not be suitable for wheelchairs. Make sure to know which gate to enter the city, as satnav is useless once you enter.

I recently stayed at this charming hotel in the heart of a beautiful walled town. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the warm and cozy atmosphere made it even better. The coffee machine in the room was a delightful touch, and the friendly host, Maria, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel was conveniently situated near a bike rental shop and a fantastic local cafe, and we had no trouble finding a great selection of restaurants within walking distance. All in all, a wonderful experience.
Would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Affittacamere La Camelia for a couple of nights in Lucca. The owners were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel has an authentic Italian feel, away from the typical tourist areas. There are four restaurants in the nearby square, and we particularly enjoyed the food at Osteria Francesco. The air conditioner was quiet and provided a comfortable temperature, and the room was spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, close to the center but still peaceful at night. The little touches like croissants, tea, coffee, and sweet treats in the room made us feel taken care of. To top it all off, the owners even gave us a lift to the station when we checked out, refusing any tips. a fantastic stay!
Recommend this hotel.
